I understand that [STRIVE] will be making a
presentation to the Major Facilities Conference in
San Francisco. I am sure that [STRIVEs]
presentation will be the first exposure that many of
the attendees will have with STRIVE. We, at the
Uniontown YMCA are so pleased with our decision to
acquire STRIVE equipment that I thought I would
write back to you to confirm the results that STRIVE
has brought to our facility.
Upon deciding to purchase new strength equipment, I
had no familiarity with STRIVE. I challenged our
Fitness Committee to find the best equipment
available and I was surprised that they selected
STRIVE. Having never heard of STRIVE, I
commissioned a second committee, including some of
our board members, to look again at the best
available equipment and they returned with the same
decision. We ultimately purchased a complete line
of both STRIVE Selectorized and Plate Loaded
equipment.
The results have been over whelming! I can trace
over 1,200 new members that have indicated their
primary reason for joining was to have access to the
STRIVE Target Loading equipment. The results of the
new memberships and our membership retention
increasing form 42% to 64% have made a significant
impact on our bottom line. It latterly took us from
operating in the Red ink to our present Black ink
status.
STRIVE has been embrace by not only the serious
strength training enthusiasts, but our overall
membership. Usage of our Fitness Facility is up
dramatically, particularly by women and seniors.
STRIVE has provided great benefits for everyone,
form our most advanced power lifters to our pre-fit
and senior group. There is nothing that I know of
that compares with STRIVE’ patented Target Loading
technology.
I hope that my comments will bring comfort to those
who are excited with the opportunity that STRIVE
offers, yet find themselves to be nervous about
contracting with a company and technology that is
new to them. We have been working with STRIVE
equipment and STRIVE personnel for over three years
and there are no higher compliments that I can offer
than to suggest that any YMCA Facility that is
considering strength equipment would be disserved
not to consider STRIVE.
